I was driving though Arizona on Reservation Route 59 through mesa country at night and I stopped to shoot this image. This was around 4am. It was a full moon with mostly clear skies and almost no nearby city lights, so the moon lit the place up a lot. I could see the landscape pretty well for it being the middle of the night. I set up my tripod and used a long exposure to to bring in a bit more light to the scene.
The landscape though this part of Arizona is just awesome. You can see the road winds around these mesas, and it makes a nice scenic ride.
